From one end of the world to the other are children that God treasures. They may look different, like different foods, know different things, or live in different houses in different places, but they all love to play, imagine, and learn. They all need a personal understanding of Christ’s love for them and of their irreplaceable value to His cause, so that even while they are young, this tribe can rise up and shake the globe.
Every minute of every day, the actions and decisions of its members are creating the destinies of this vital tribe. Character is being formed, education is being had, experiences lived for the first exciting, unnerving times. Available to teenagers and young adults (of all cultures, interests, and education levels) worldwide is a brilliant assortment of opportunities to shape their homes, schools, and communities for Christ. This tribe is unique, unignorable, and if they chose to be, powerful.
Time and culture may place many different expectations on manhood, but the biblical vision for it remains the same: courageous, enduring, and strong. Courage in the face of challenges, endurance to stay steady over time regardless of circumstance, and strength to do what must be done to lead, protect, provide and serve with honor. Imitations of these traits may be offered freely, but they can only be truly developed by banding together under Christ with brothers of the same mind and resolve.
In every culture and time, each woman’s life is profoundly different. Seasons vary – single, married, professional, mother, grandmother, caregiver, and more. It is virtually impossible to list everything each woman is during her lifetime. Often she fills many roles simultaneously and with such fluidity that is difficult to tell one from another. No matter her culture, roles, or season of life, each woman is linked to her tribe, able to encourage, lead, and support.
Decades of dedication, experience, and learning are irreplaceable, hard-won treasures to the missionary cause. Though seniors around the world see staggeringly different things when they review the years that have brought them to the present, their collective and individual ability to provide leadership, wise counsel, prayer covering, and more make this tribe an unstoppable force.
Career, medicine, the arts, and hobbies of various kinds transcend cultural barriers like few other things do. No matter where you are from, your interests, skills and passions can instantly bond you to fellow professionals, experts, and artists from one end of the world to the other. Your tribe pulsates with creativity, skill, innovation, and proud tradition.
Is it fair that some receive the hope of the gospel again and again – when so many others haven’t heard it even once?
We are committed to reaching all people in all nations. But our first priority must be to those who have never heard.
We exist as a mission “so all can hear” the saving message of Jesus.
It has been said that no one should hear the gospel twice until everyone has heard it once. That simply isn’t true. Few people receive Christ after just one presentation of the gospel, so sharing Christ with the spiritually lost is a continual process.
However, for some to have access to the message of salvation and the hope of everlasting life while others are neglected is tragic beyond description.
Everyone deserves the opportunity to hear the gospel, believe in Jesus, and call on His name to be saved.
Our Fellowship is committed to reaching all people in all nations. We can’t bypass any region or group of people. Our first priority must be those who have never heard the gospel, knowing that more than 4 billion people have not yet had an adequate witness of Jesus Christ.
There are more than 7,000 Unreached People Groups (a people group with less than 2% evangelical Christians) around the world. Assemblies of God World Missions engages 310 of those groups. Partner with us to learn who they are and what you can do to reach them.
